my favorite part about the umbrella academy is how they just… keep… fucking forgetting about the apocalypse. this dysfunctional ass family, they can’t keep it together for five fucking minutes before wandering off to do their own dysfunctional shit. and then five has to keep coming in trying to wrangle them into action – these twenty-something superpowered piss babies with the memory of goldfish and the indifference of house cats, i love them
